Tonight I'm musing about.....
~It is SO nice to be able to take a shower while standing, you have no idea. My foot healed SO much over the weekend. Prayers = finally answered.
~I'm also not dreading my class 1st thing tomorrow morning on the second floor of the only classroom building without an elevator because instead of having to hop up with my crutches and facing a near death experience with every step, I can actually normally-ish walk-ish up them!!! WOOOO
~I got all 4 of the Celestial Seasonings limited edition holiday teas in the mail today. I saw them in someone's Youtube video, but couldn't find them in stores anywhere. So, Amazon it was. Can't wait to test them out for you all! People keep asking me how I like them so I'll probs review them too (; So far I've just tried the Candy Cane Lane (I actually had 2 cups of it today, hehe)
~Tomorrow is my last Spanish class until Thanksgiving break! 2 of them got cancelled for my professor's trip to South Africa/America....I can't remember which. Yay yay YAY!
~Z is the cutest boyfriend in the entire world, and I was so incredibly lucky to be able to spend some time with him this weekend, if only for a few hours. It's so worth the drive, every time. I'll have to post some pictures of our date night in a post tomorrow, eek! I'm so excited! It's not every day that I have new pictures of my fabulous boyfriend to share! I also need to post a Man Crush Monday picture of him soon....only 43 minutes left of Monday remain!
~I'm. Exhausted. All last week I was too, even though I got more sleep than usual (?) Last night random stuff going on in my building (I'm looking at you, jerks who decided to slam their door 6 times in a row at 2 am!!!) kept waking me up, so I got a terrible night's sleep. I wanted to take a nap about three different times today, but as I've said before and will say again, napping in college is near impossible. At least for me. So just a few minutes more of studying for an espanol quiz tomorrow, and I'll be off to my cozy, cozy bed with way too many pillows in it at the moment <3
Thanks for reading! Hope your Monday was fabulous, but if it wasn't....at least it's OVER!

Friday's Letters!
Dear Elle, I'm too upset to even think straight and be able to type right now. This is why....be right back, hating myself.... >:(
That's my memory card. That I use in my camera to make videos!!! It also has a lot of pictures on it...luckily it still registered with my laptop, even in this state, so I was able to transfer everything on it onto my laptop. I hope that was everything....I feel like there should have been more on here. BUT STILL- HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN? I've had my laptop in my backpack with the memory card in it before and it never...bent! It was in my laptop case in my backpack that I haven't thrown around all day...so what the heck happened?! They're not supposed to bend that way! Crying, crying, crying for days.
Dear Mayor Tom Ford, I'm sick and tired of hearing about you on CNN literally every single day. Get your shit together! Stop swearing at the paparazzi! Ashleigh Banfield wouldn't even play the footage of the rude things you said because she said they were so bad and vulgar....that's not cute, stop it. Think about how much you're embarrassing your wife, kay thanks?
Dear universe, The sinkhole I just heard about on the news sounds exactly like the beginning of the movie This Is The End. Terrible movie, but still....I'm gonna be on the lookout for spontaneous eruptions of fire and aliens and shit. Scary.
Dear Z, You're my best friend.
Dear foot, I'm so proud of you for being able to carry some of my weight this week. You've been doing really well- keep it up because I'm getting impatient and being unable to carry around my own coffee because I'm too busy crutching is really a terrible thing.
Dear girl who is always in the arts building lobby at the same times on Monday Wednesday Friday that I am, I feel like we will become best friends eventually. We're like twins right now with our matching cream-colored infinity scarves and our Macbooks on our laps. I would be more social with you, I bet, if there was some coffee in me and if this wasn't my favorite time of day to blog.
Dear Grav3yardGirl aka Bunny, Your videos can take me from a bottom of the barrel mood to a fantastic, laughing mood. Your videos have been my go-to for bursts of laugher or just a pick-me-up all week. Thank you for letting loose and just being yourself, and for giving me something to look forward to, and for being more hilarious than any other human being I know. Please come to the East Coast and do a meetup! I would literally die.
I think that's all! Check out the video I uploaded yesterday for Throwback Thursday! (Blogger never lets me embed videos from my second channel, obnoxious. Just click the purple sentence to get there!)
Thanks for reading and watching!

Thursday Thoughts!
I've had such good vibes goin' for the past few hours...this may just be the best Thursday Thoughts ever cause I have some great news!
~One of my physical therapists is a reincarnated version of George Lopez, I swear. He looks so much like him, has his voice, AND HIS LAUGH! That's the scariest of all, the laugh. His sense of humor is slightly different though, thank goodness. Today one of the exercises they had me do was to start with my feet shoulder-width apart, then kick with my good foot (while standing on my bum foot, EEK!) and kick "George" in the back of the leg. They kept telling me to aim for his butt, but 1) that was a little...weird...for my taste and 2) I physically don't bend that way yet.
~I just got out of a class that I thought was going to be super long and boring 25 minutes early, so I'm back with plenty of extra time to blog about the good news I'm brimming at the rim with!
~It's freaking gorgeous and sunny and beautiful outside, and is climbing slowly back up to the 50s for the weekend. HALLELUJAH! I kept doing all of these crutch-themed photos...I could like start an Instagram or Tumblr and call myself Crutch Girl and just have all of these mysterious photos with my crutches peeking out of them. Lol anyways...
~MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, I GOT THE OKAY TO WALK AROUND IN PLACES OTHER THAN THE PT OFFICE WITHOUT MY AIRCAST/BOOT/BIONIC FOOT ON! I mean I could've taken it off whenever I wanted since it's just velcro, but I was told to bring my matching shoe to my appt today, and I left wearing it too! It hurt a little to bend my foot that way to put it in the shoe, but after that it hasn't bothered me. Their reasoning is that "I'll have more support in my sneaker than in my boot," which makes no sense to me because the boot was MADE for support, and has like a million layers of foam and air cushions in it. But either way, it was a super good day in that department.

~Class registration went well, I only got locked out of one class, which is pretty good! I mean, this is supposed to only be the second day for freshmen to register, but a lot of freshman classes were practically full already, so there must be a loophole! Anyways, I had picked out a second choice for that class anyways, so on Mondays I'll have a whopping 4 classes (starting at 9am, ugh), but on Tuesdays I'll only have one, and it starts at 11 (so I can sleep in to get rid of the torturous memories of my jam-packed Mondays). Good thing my Monday blogpost is at night, cause I'm gonna be busy! The only thing that bummed me out about this lock out was that Miranda and I were gonna be in the same class together, along with possibly my other friend Emily. Boo :(

HEADLINE: Crutch Girl sighted with two matching, real shoes on, for the first time in almost a month. |
~My registration time was during my PT appt., so I had to stop my gait-stepping to go log on and pick my classes. I did it in exactly 3 minutes, because I was so well-prepared and had all the course numbers, etc., written down (; George Lopez wanted to put me in the torture tub of Arctic death and destruction while I was registering, but I was like uhhh no way, my laptop is smooth as a stone and would probably have slid off my lap and into the whirlpool in .025 seconds had I attempted that. Clearly my coordination is crap....that's how I ended up in PT in the first place, right?
~I'm debating about whether to miss the first hour of a capella practice tonight to go to my third merit point event this week (I'm gonna have amazing housing next year, fingers crossed!)....there's this cool women empowerment thing going on, so of course Miranda and Emily want to go (I'm the one that told them it was going on, so you're welcome ladies). I haven't missed practice in awhile, so I feel like that could be excusable...possibly? What to do, what to do...
~I guess that's all for today. I'm just super excited about wearing matching shoes!!! And also about the fact that I can walk around with only one crutch now- I keep doing that to go to the bathroom, and it's so nice to be able to go to the bathroom without a wheelchair taking up the entire room! I'm shaky and look like an old person when I do it, but progress is progress, and walking was all the wanted all along.(:
Keep on the lookout for my Thirsty Thursday post later today- I'm reviewing a tea this week! How unusual, I know.
Thanks for reading! What are your Thoughts this Thursday?

Tuesday Tidbits
Pretend I have a really cute Tuesday Tidbits button! If someone wants to make me one I will love you forever and possibly send you some beauty items....jussayin. Mini secret giveaway goin on right here!
Hey hey hey guys! I'm so peppy and happy today even BEFORE my coffee today, and here's why:
~My Public Safety driver today was the one who calls everyone "hun" and whose car smells like coffee. Seriously, it was like straight up Starbucks scent this morning, and I was in dire need (only just now am I getting my daily dose of coffee!) so I was almost tempted to reach over and pretend that "oh, I thought that was my cup! Whoops, sorry!" But I didn't. Round of applause for self control, please.
~It was a really positive day for everyone in physical therapy today- the other guy who injured his foot and had previously been wearing an AirCast like I am now finally took his boot off and is walking without it! You go boy! His bruises are every shade between black and purple, I swear. I didn't know there were that many different colors on that end of the color spectrum....
ANYWAYS!

Livin' up dat PT lyfe. |
~I had to be put in the torture tub again today, but apparently it was only 45 degrees, which the guy who works the tub area says "is too warm." So of course he was taking shovels of ice and dumping them in the tub, but he didn't dump them on my foot again today, so that made me exponentially happy. It was bearable today & there were no cold-water anxiety attacks, thank goooodnezz. I was so proud of myself for putting up with it comfortably, unlike on Thursday.... Another impressive thing I did today is that I picked up a cup and a half of marbles with my toes, and it took me a lot less time than usual because my sausage toes have finally stopped swelling so much! This happened over the weekend and made me super happy. My foot looks normal when by itself, but then you put it next to my un-sprained foot and it's practically purple. Gross.
~Most importantly of all, on my journey to the torture ice tub of Arctic death, they got me to walk. On both my feet. At first I only had one crutch, and since I wasn't wearing a shoe on one foot, it kind of looked like I was going to face plant, so they gave me my second crutch. I wasn't even wearing my AirCast and I was PUTTING WEIGHT EQUALLY ON BOTH FEET and actually walking like a regular human being! It really was starting to feel like I wasn't going to be able to walk normally again, and today gave me hope. I'm really so excited about this- I can stand on both feet without too much pain now too!
~IT SNOWED TODAY! It was more like sleet and didn't stick to the ground, although my mom sent me pictures from back home and there was definitely an inch sticking to everything there. Here, however, it was just really wet rain that looked white while it was in mid-air. I was terrified with all of the wetness and my crutches on the rubber stairs in the art building and the perfectly polished and shiny lobby floor in the business building, since I've wiped out when it's rained in both of those locations before :( I've been good so far today, probably because I can walk when I crutch now, so I'm relying less on my crutches.
~My roommate from CA just checked the weather for back home and the low today is 54....which is the high for the next week here. It's currently 70-something there, as we were sitting in the snow this morning...why, East Coast, why?! She also just said to me, "Guess how many pairs of pants I'm wearing today!?!" I've taught her the rules of layering well. Good job, my young grass hopper.
~I've been testing so many new products lately...face products, a toothpaste I'm in love with....What I'm Loving Wednesday is going to be chock-full tomorrow! I'm super excited and should start gearing up now....at least with the picture-taking!
~I'm uploading my giveaway to my beauty channel as I type! I'll talk about it a bit more in a separate post when it's live! Let's just say that if you're following my blog, you're already one step ahead! (;
What are you tidbitting about this fine Tuesday?

My First Semester of College is Cursed!
Guys.
I'm pretty sure that when I hobble by people I'm sorta friendly with on campus, and they see me on crutches, they're convinced that I'm my own personal bad luck charm. Especially if they've been keeping up with the saga that is the story of my first semester of college.
I don't like blogging about such downer topics, but then I saw a Tuesday Troubles post on RamblingsofASuburbanMom.com, and realized that it's a thing and that I'm totally allowed to do it. Also, I love her, and if you haven't started reading her blog yet... DO IT. (She doesn't know I'm saying this btw...I actually highly doubt she knows I exist)
*PLUS it's Halloween week, so I'm allowed to talk about curses and have people actually believe me...right?
Anyways.
Maybe I wouldn't have this belief if I didn't already know my building is haunted. My RA lived in the same building I live in now her freshman year, so she's been telling us from the start that the building is haunted as can be. Apparently a girl hung herself in the closet of one of the rooms awhile back, either mine or the one next to me, although after recent events I'm pretty convinced it's my room. As gory as it sounds, I'm still trying to figure out how she hung herself in a closet that size....was she a midget?
The first month of college was great. My roommates and I were best friends and everyone was jealous. We had a few great friends that we always hung out with who were practically honorary roommates (this is still true to an extent, we still have a few of those, THANK GOODNESS,) and our building was full of super friendly people that we got along great with. Then shit started going down.
There was a giant roommate fiasco and one of my roommates moved out. My other roommate and I had the room to ourselves for a few weeks, and it was like a giant sleepover! Then one night I had a rapid heartbeat and a fever of 102, so I called Public Safety and they told me to take a cab to the ER. It turns out I had a kidney infection, and went all the way back home and had to stay there for a week and a half. When I got back, my new roommate moved in and we love her, so no complaints there (once again...THANK GOODNESS!) I was super behind in schoolwork. Then there was a conflict between one of my roommates and the girls on my floor, which resulted in me having to host an intervention with some of my friends, which was super awk and made some people really upset (it's okay now though).
Now, the icing on the cake: literally the day after the intervention, I was running downstairs in my socks to the bathroom, because the one on my floor AND the floor below me were both occupied by strange people who shower at 11 pm on a Tuesday (seriously, WTF), and I had to pee like you wouldn't believe. Then all of a sudden, I slipped when I was ALMOST TO THE BATHROOM, SO CLOSE I COULD TASTE IT (err...smell it?) and that's when I slipped, and my foot felt like it folded in half.
I was limping to all of my classes the next day and it hurt like a bitch, so one of my friends finally told me to go to Health Services and gave me a piggy back ride there (hehe, love you R). They said it was probably sprained but could be broken, since my foot was huge and swollen and had yellow bruising all over it. They recommended going to get X-rays, so I went to a walk-in clinic a couple hours later (more like the Walk-In Shitshow....ugh don't get me started!!!!) They took X-rays and had horrible customer service and told me nothing was broken. Also, neither place had crutches, so I had to hobble into CVS myself with a potentially broken foot (they took X-rays less than 24 hours after the damage was done, so it was really too swollen to be able to see a break if there was one), and had to pay $45 out of pocket for some crutches that didn't even have numbers on the notches- you know how they're normally labeled by height? Yeah, not these. And insurance doesn't cover them, so it was a pretty penny.
I'm pretty sure that when I hobble by people I'm sorta friendly with on campus, and they see me on crutches, they're convinced that I'm my own personal bad luck charm. Especially if they've been keeping up with the saga that is the story of my first semester of college.

So for the rest of that week and all of yesterday, I was crutching around campus and destroying my armpits and hopping up the stairs in my building like an exhausted little bunny. Then my mom booked me an appt with her foot doctor back home, so I got picked up and had my appointment just a few hours ago. They took some more X-rays, except this time they wanted me to put weight on my foot while they were taking them...um, no thanks, since I can't and all? Isn't that the reason I'm HERE?! Geeeze.... anyways, the doctor noticed that I can't bend my ankle or foot or move anything in that general area at all (which I hadn't even noticed up until that point. I'm clearly an observant child....nawt) SO she scheduled me some MRIs for late tonight (to see if I tore any ligaments or tendons or other yucky stuff).
I'm supposed to stay home, off of campus, for a few days to get my test results and see if I need physical therapy or anything. Plus I have exams for the next 3 days, and all of my books and notes are on campus...not here, where I am. Plus my boyfriend's working tonight so he can't come visit and make me feel better. Plus there's a huge Halloween celebration going on tomorrow night at school that I may/may not be able to go to. Plus my roommate's birthday is Monday and I don't want to be a jerk and miss whatever we're doing to celebrate. Plus Youtube has been giving me problems with copyrights on my videos all week, for videos where there's no music and it's literally just me talking...WTF. Who knows if I'll even be back for Halloween? ARGGHH!
The ghost just wants to ruin my life. I must have pissed her off early in the semester. I really have no other explanation for all of the shit that's happened to me lately....and yet I'm still not a college dropout. Amazing, eh?
If your Tuesday Troubles are more horrible than mine, please let me know cause that would sure make me feel better. I'll probably be making a beauty video live on my channel in an hour or so, and if you commented that would also cheer me up. I'm so worried about my grades right now that it's not even funny. DAMN YOU GHOST!
Do you believe in curses?
Thanks for reading & Happy Early Halloween!
